Spanish Tapas Menu at Purple Bellevue

Join us from August 10th to 18th as we explore the flavors of Spain with a special Tapas style menu at our Bellevue location.

The word “tapas” is derived from the Spanish verb tapar, “to cover”. According to legend, the tapas tradition began when King Alfonso X of Castile recovered from an illness by drinking wine with small dishes between meals. After regaining his health, the king ordered that taverns would not be allowed to serve wine to customers unless it was accompanied by a small snack or “tapa”.

For your dining pleasure, our Bellevue kitchen will offer delish dishes such as Cava-Steamed Manila Clams and Marcona Almond & White Grape Gazpacho. In addition, the entire tapas menu is paired with wine. To view the full menu, click here.
